  • Wheatsville Arts Festival

    It’s back! After more than a decade the Wheatsville Arts Festival is returning, and admission is completely free. Join Wheatsille Co-Op for a complete takeover of their 4001 South Lamar parking lot. Shop from over 70 vendors offering one of a kind, handmade creations. They will also have a kid's area from 12pm-4pm sponsored by Austin Creative Reuse.

    Turn up the festive vibes at ZACH's new holiday sing-along party, POP! This pop-up party is a wild mix of holiday classics and the hottest hits of Taylor Swift, NSYNC, Mariah Carey, Stevie Wonder, Wham!, The Beatles, and more! Toast with date-night cocktails at a cabaret table for two, or reserve a whole row for your crew.     Call it a psychedelic Prairie Home Companion, blending performance, art, film, music, and more from creatives who've kept it weird in Austin for five decades. Feast your senses on a multimedia environment created by the visual artists at Arts+Labor in collaboration with nonprofit Society for the Preservation of Texas Music, which will receive proceeds from a silent auction curated by Auspop. Hosted by House of Lepore's Gothess Jasmine, who brings friends such as spoken word poet Nicotine, plus music from Extreme Heat and Sayang, stories and film from and about the Dicks' Buxf Parrot, stellar Tex-Mex from La Mancha, and more.

    Fresh for Less Mobile Markets

    This program from the city of Austin, run by Farmshare Austin, has opened new market locations. There are now six weekly markets around town that sell Texas-grown produce, eggs, honey, and other groceries all at reduced prices. Most major cards are accepted at these markets and if you are a SNAP customer, you can also use your Lone Star card and Double Up Food Bucks. Locations and schedules are subject to change, so check the current info online to find one near you.
