  • Mindfulness Class

    Interested in exploring a different way of being and living in the world instead of your head? Join the innovative class at MBCT Austin to learn how to be mindful in your daily life and respond to your feelings rather than react to them. You'll learn a unique approach to mindfulness meditation, a practice which has been scientifically proven to change brain chemistry and neuronal structure permanently for the better. The course includes eight (8) classes from 7:00-9:00p.m. on Wednesdays and a half day Saturday retreat. Next course begins April 24th.

    Juneteenth: A Celebration of Freedom

    The Carver is the first museum in the nation to feature a permanent exhibit honoring Juneteenth. Up all year round, the museum's core exhibit is dedicated to the history and evolution of Juneteenth, told through a combination of visual and interactive activities.

    RuPaul's Drag Race Presents: Werq the World

    RuPaul's right hand Michelle Visage brings some of Drag Race's best queens to shantay all over Austin's main stage. Queens include season 10 faves Aquaria, Kameron Michael's, Eureka O'Hara, and Asia O'Hara along with all-time all stars bob the Drag Queen, Kim Chi, and Violet Chachki. Gentlequeers, start those engines.
