  • The Amazing Acro-Cats: Keep It Weird in Austin!

    The Acro-Cats tour supports Rock Cats Rescue, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Rock Cats Rescue is focused on saving cats "One Click at a Time" through cat welfare, rescue, and adoption. The Acro-Cats show promotes the importance of bonding and training cats with positive reinforcement, while also finding homes for rescued cats.

    Community Night Spotlight: LGBTQ Family Pride

    Everything's coming up rainbows at the Thinkery's Pride party for all LGBTQ families – literally. There will be cooking stations for rainbow kabobs, rainbow flags for the mini parade, and rainbow-adorned queens reading bedtime stories. Plus free ice cream from that gay-owned ice cream shop, Lick.

    Portraits of Pride

    It wouldn't be Pride week if we didn't take a moment to honor, remember, and thank Marsha P. Johnson, who – among other claims to fame – help set off the gay liberation movement. Join BossBabes, Unbounded Agency, and Space 24 Twenty for a night to remember those who helped pave the way with polaroids, cocktails, and queers.

    Austin Pride 2018

    The city's flagship Pride celebration starts off with the fest at Fiesta Gardens then flows into neon nighttime parade rolling from the Capitol all the way down Congress to 4th Street. Peeping the parade is free, but you gotta pay to enter the fest for its multitude of entertainers. Snag yours now.

    Splash Days 2018

    Austin's annual summer send-off with nonstop gay parties to get you wet, wild, and feeling good. New this year: all events are free, but donations for beneficiaries (Kind Clinic, Out Youth, AIDS Services of Austin) will be accepted and those that throw some extra money down will be awarded with cheaper drinks and yummy food deals.
    Fri.-Mon., Aug. 31-Sept. 3. Free, donations accepted.
