Mukhtara Yusuf: Africa and Materiality

Mukhtara Yusuf is a visual artist, scholar, and cultural activist whose work focuses on decolonizing design, sustainability, alternative economies, and design in the global south. Her talk today – part of the free-admission programs offered each Thursday at this excellent venue – is amplified via the Blanton's current "Making Africa" exhibition.
