    Collection Rert: Paper or Plastic

Another Palfloat show, already? OK, someone needs to write up a profile on these relentless artistes. Give us a couple weeks, we're on it. In the meantime, check out this installation by Chad Hopper: "My brain was full, so I emptied it into this room. In creating an amalgam of all my different bedrooms I hope to share inspirations from my youth, as well as current ones, and fill up other people's brains with an interactive experience." Bonus: Live music from Andi Skeemax and the Slow Jams.

    The Art of Ice Cream

This? Is one of those ooooh-this'll-look-great-on-Instagram pop-ups that all the like-hungry kids are flocking to, cameras at the ready, surfaces polished for posing. The venue's packed with a colorful array of ice-cream-themed environments, obvs, and so they'll offer you free samples of frozen confections, too. Note: See David Brendan Hall's photo gallery of the place right here.
    Through Dec. 30. Wed.-Mon., 11am-8pm. $15-25.

    Urgent Messages: Risograph Poster Workshop

St. Ed's Risograph Lab will provide the means – a risograph printer and a kit of pre-made graphics commissioned for this event – whereby you can design posters that relay your urgent message. (Note: Participants receive an edition of 20 of their posters to take with them to put out in the world.) Most of these workshops are already full, yes – but there are still a few days available in the beginning of December. Click this link for complete schedule and application.
