    Meet Her Hands: Deborah Valcin

    The exhibition-and-discussion series featuring Texas women artists, a collab between the Ney Museum and #bossbabes, continues, with the spotlight now on Valcin, a Haitian filmmaker whose work explores the fluidity of human condition, the complexity of the Haitian narrative, and how emotion manifests itself in art.

    Third Thursday at the Blanton: Invoke

    Admission to the Blanton is always free on Thursdays, and this Thursday the bastion of cultural brilliance features a performance by "those rampagers of the alt-classical chamber music scene," Invoke, a screening of Nicola Roeg’s 1971 film Walkabout, and a series of intimate tours of the art currently on display.
