    Wiggy's Gallery: Spin

Here's a gallery-in-a-liquor-store, featuring art by that B. Shawn Cox, who's interested in "narratives, humor, cliché, irony, color texture, layered meanings, and shiny things" and expresses it with vintage photos, paint, plaster, clay, and other stuff he finds around the house or sources from the internets. Bonus: A lot of this stuff looks real good by the time he's put it on a wall.
    Reception: Wed., March 7, 5-7pm

    Your Playable City: Shadowing

Here's a fun new Downtown installation, created by Jonathan Chomko and Matthew Rosier, in which streetlights play back the shadows of those who pass beneath them. No, for real. As a citizen walks under the lights, "the shadow of a previous visitor will walk, hop, or dance beside them, and then their own movements will be captured and displayed to the next passerby." And here's a map of locations.
