    AM/Projected Relation

This is a systems-based video installation that asks the viewer to be an active participant in the search for AM’s “being.” And who is AM? AM is "a present fiction, a product of data debris." As she says, “one day there was enough data, and then I’ve always been here.” Welcome to the future, with Christina Smiros.

    Dimension Gallery: Benthos

It's no secret that this place is one of our favorite galleries ever – because we appreciate well-honed craft as much as we enjoy the heady concepts of art – and now the epicenter of sculptural brilliance and creative blacksmithery reveals new work by Austin-based Haley Woodward. This series uses the strange and adaptable creatures found in the planet's seabeds as influence for sculptural forms … and Woodward uses iron like your grandma would use crochet, if your grandma were Alberto Giacometti as coached by Guillermo Del Toro. Highly recommended, with or without scuba tanks.
    Through March 31
