Yes, it's the musical, staged version of that beloved Sam Raimi horrorsploitation film – as presented by UT's University Theatre Guild. There will be vulgar language, blood effects, and flashing lights, and the front row will be a splash zone. (Note: The "blood" is machine-washable.)

    Yamel Cucuy

This new production from the adventurous stage professionals of Glass Half Full Theatre reveals the story of a girl on the precipice of adulthood, contending with the physical and metaphysical violence of borders. Featuring Gricelda Silva, Gustavo Martinez, Lori Navarrete, Tane Ward, Marina DeYoe Pedraza, Indigo Rael, and Connor Hopkins. Directed by Caroline Reck, with original score by Paul Pinon.
    Through Nov. 5. Thu.-Sat., 8pm; Sun., 6pm. $15-45.
