    Dear Evan Hansen

A letter that was never meant to be seen; a lie that was never meant to be told; a life he never dreamed he could have. Evan Hansen is about to get the one thing he’s always wanted: a chance to finally fit in, in this "deeply personal and profoundly contemporary musical about life and the way we live it." Right?
    Through Dec. 15. Thu.-Fri., 8pm; Sat., 2 & 8pm; Sun., 1 & 7pm. $44-154.

    Auditions: Single Black Female

Ground Floor Theatre is holding auditions for Single Black Female written by Lisa B. Thompson, to be directed by Matrex Kilgore. This is a two-woman show with rapid-fire comic vignettes exploring the lives of thirtysomething African American middle-class women in urban America as they search for love, clothes, and dignity in a world that fails to recognize them amongst a parade of stereotypical images. Prepare a monologue; be ready to read from the script; bring a resume and headshot. Note: The show is cast without consideration to ability, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, size, or shape unless specifically called for in the script. One actor has already been cast; decisions about roles will be made after second actor is chosen. Email Patti at Ground Floor to secure an audition slot.
    Tue., Dec. 10, 7-10pm
