Inversion Ensemble: Aether: Earth

The talented ensemble announces its fourth season, Aether, exploring the four alchemical elements of earth, air, fire and water and their meanings both ancient and new. Inversion Ensemble Coda, a choir of singers aged 55 and older, opens the season with music centered on the element of Earth as our home and our responsibility to be stewards of that home through conservation, featuring world premieres by composers Adrienne Inglis, Robbie LaBanca, and Majorie Halloran. Bonus: Chaski's flutist Adrienne Inglis and harpist Shana Norton. Sat., Aug. 10, 7pm; St. John's United Methodist Church, 2140 Allandale.
