Featuring the premiere of artist-in-residence Marek Pasieczny’s monumental new work for the ACG community, this concert is the heart of the group's season. Inspired by nature, spirit, and togetherness, Pasieczny will be joined by the Bion Tsang (cello), Thomas Burritt (percussion), and a massive orchestra of guitarists led by Joe Williams.Sat., Feb. 18, 8pm. $15-75. -

Your Austin Symphony Orchestra presents a glorious Michelle Cann performance of Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 in C Minor. Also: works by Schubert, Beethoven, and Joseph Schwantner's breathtaking New Morning for the World, the MLK-derived text of which will be narrated by Austin's beloved bass vocalist, Donnie Ray Albert.Fri.-Sat., Feb. 17-18, 8pm. $19 and up.
