Philippine Madrigal Singers
Known for rousing and emotional performances, this is a 26-person choral ensemble of students, faculty, and alumni from the University of the Philippines. They'll be cutting loose with renaissance music, classical music, Filipino and international folksongs, contemporary and avant-garde compositions, opera, and even a bit of the ol' pop music.Sun., Sept. 3. $25-$40.

Austin Chamber Music Center: Hope After Harvey
The Miró Quartet, singers from Conspirare, Austin Classical Guitar's Matt Hinsley, and the ACMC's Michelle Schumann present an informal concert to help raise funds for the hurricane-relief efforts. The music will be glorious, and the event will include volunteer education opportunities as well as a drop-off station for donated goods.Sun., Sept. 3, 4pm. Donations accepted.
