T.C. Boyle: Outside Looking In

It's April again and acid is in the air! That's what it begins to seem like, anyway, what with that whole microdosing trend, and then Michael Pollan evangelizing about the psychedelics, and now one of this country's best fictionalizing documentarians weighing in with this narrative history about what happened after Dr. Hoffman took that famous bicycle ride and Tim Leary started in with his proselytizing and a couple of psychology students got involved with the LSD and – oh, let Boyle tell you about it himself tonight. And, pro tip, maybe drop a couple of tabs before you go, right? (But, if you do, try not to think how much the author resembles our late, lamented Leslie Cochran.)
