The irrepressible and relentlessly versiform event begins its
27th annual inundation of our rapidly embiggening river city. Poets from all over Texas; from all over the United States; hell, from all over the world: massing in the ATX, regaling one another and passersby and gathered crowds with their crafted harangues and lyrical elegies, hawking multiple copies of their latest broadsheets and chapbooks, drinking too much coffee and chai in so many cafes throughout this vibrant urban conflagration we call home.
