Charlie Jane Anders: The City in the Middle of the Night

Is Anders really "this generation's LeGuin," Mr. Greer? How about giving the Nebula award-winning author a little more time before proclaiming that, OK? Undeniable, though, is that Charlie Jane Anders writes wonderfully and crafts innovative, engaging stories packed with characters a reader can actually care about – whether those characters are human or otherwise. And tonight she's presenting her new novel about the colonizers of a planet that's eternally half night and half day … and what happens when they meet the original people of that world.
