    Past Deposits from a Future Yet to Come is a new video art installation by internationally recognized artists Teresa Hubbard / Alexander Birchler. Opening night festivities include a viewing of the installation alongside a free live performance of the musical score composed by Alex Weston.

    A Christmas Carol

    Zach Theatre’s adaptation of the Dickens classic is a musical sleigh ride through rhythm and time, infusing the traditional Victorian story with a score that spans all genres and eras. "Celebrate the season with the loving Cratchit family and three soulful ghosts as they take Ebenezer Scrooge on a joyride to rediscover his heart and love for human kindness."

    ARCOS: Narratives of the Migrant Body

    ARCOS Dance presents a weekend of dance and storytelling, featuring Narratives of the Migrant Body, directed by interdisciplinary Brazilian-Amazonian dance artist, Angelica Monteiro. The presentation includes a dance piece by emerging student choreographer Lauren Jershin.

    Co-Lab Projects: Cowboy Xmas in December

    Co-Lab rings in the holidays with this anti-soirée, a casual fundraiser and membership drive to benefit their spring programming. This night's got live music by Lesley Reynaga (with mariachis) and Dickie Lee Erwin, films by Hyperreal Film Club, Christmas carol karaoke, art-making competitions, a holiday costume contest, food by Micklethwait BBQ, and a charity cheer bar sponsored by Austin Beer Works, the Austin Shaker, Tito's, and more. Bonus: All funds raised (whether it’s from new memberships, tickets to the event, bar donations, or barbecue sales) will be matched by community business partners and event sponsors.

    This multidisciplinary production from Ora Dance Company follows the story of the Yoruba deity of fertility, beauty, and love: Oshun. Through Afro-Latin dance and music, witness the power, passion, and generosity of Oshun, one of the most resilient Orisha of the Yoruba pantheon.
