    One Page Salon

Here's the latest of Owen Egerton's monthly literary shindigs – where authors read just one page from a new work – again brightening the North Door's snazzy stage with sharp presentations from a plethora of talents. The effervescent Egerton is joined this night by novelist Erin Pringle, Boston's own Emily Franklin, the award-winning Tammy Stoner, soul-strong wiseass Robin Chotzinoff, and musician Vernon Rust.
    Tue., March 3, 7:30pm. Free.

Marcus; or The Secret of Sweet

Tarell Alvin McCraney's "provocative, poignant, and fiercely humorous coming-of-age story of a young gay man in the South" is directed by Charles O. Anderson and Robert Ramirez for UT Theatre and Dance. And you know that McCraney name, right? The man who wrote Moonlight? Hell yes.
    Through March 8. Tue.-Sat., 7:30pm; Sun., 2pm. $15-26.
