    Esther's Follies, "Austin's #1 Comedy Troupe" follows the funny in Washington, Austin, and on the internet. Hailed as Austin’s answer to Saturday Night Live, Esther’s has been entertaining sold-out audiences for over 42 years. It is a modern-day vaudeville revue like nothing else on the national comedy scene mixing political comedy, musical numbers, and Vegas-style magic into five performances every week.

  • The Creative Mind; Get to Know artist Peter Ortiz

    Local visual artist Peter Ortiz will present his work and clips from the upcoming documentary Migration; The Life and Art of Peter Ortiz, based on his life and art. Join him for a 2-hour hands-on class on how he manipulates ink and pastel in a non-ordinary application following his presentation. Materials are provided for the class.

    Severe Weather Warning

    Theatre en Bloc presents Austin-based playwright Elizabeth Doss' newest stagework, in which four lifelong friends on a weekend getaway deal with "a night of chaos inside and severe weather outside." Directed by Jenny Lavery, featuring Kacy Samiee, Leslie McDonel, Giselle Marie Munoz, and Charlotte Gulezian.

    Committed to freedom of speech and expression, Austin Public is a nonexclusive and content-neutral media studio that offers low- and no-cost training, equipment, facilities, and cablecasting services to all Austinites. It is managed by the Austin Film Society under contract from the city of Austin, and operates cable channels 10, 11, and 16, and live streams.
