    Bryson Brown & Friends

This local comedian is smooth. He's laid-back. So he's, what, kind of like McConaughey but with a really deep tan – and funny as hell? He's definitely funny, and his show tonight is rich with sets by Dezz White, E. Green, Mahdee Harris, and Zach Brooks.
    Wed., July 11, 8pm. $12-17.

Davis Gallery: Of Warp and Weft

The elegant carved wood sculptures of Caprice Pierucci. The photographs of delicate cheesecloth drapings by Charles Heppner. Together they make for a compelling dialog of harmony, form, and composition – complicating the walls of this excellent gallery. (See our full review right here.) Recommendation: See the art, then grab some great food at the Soup Peddler location just a few blocks away.

With headliner Amber Bixby – and additional comedic and moral and epistemological support from Clayton Blackstone, Danny Goodwin, Duncan Carson, Jt Kelley, and Lea'h Sampson.
