    SUFFRAGE NOW: A 19th Amendment Centennial Exhibition

    On August 18, 1920, the Nineteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was ratified, giving women the right to vote. On August 6, 2020, the Elisabet Ney Museum debuted this new show for which women photographers nationwide were invited to share photos that comment on the Centennial of the Ratification of the 19th Amendment. The most eloquent images were chosen and are included in this online exhibition.

    Texas Folk & Traditional Arts Relief Fund

    In response to the substantial economic and social impact of the ongoing pandemic, a group of Texas folk and traditional arts organizations have come together to help offset the immediate and ongoing needs of the community. This fund will support artists from marginalized and at-risk communities that may not be in line for assistance by other Covid-19 relief funds. You can donate to the fund or apply online if you qualify for a grant.

    Play the Escape Game’s newest game, "Ruins: Forbidden Treasure," from anywhere in the world using Zoom. Control an avatar wearing a live feed camera, search 360° images of the room, and use items in your online dashboard to progress through the game. An expert game guide will be there to help along the way, just like the typical escape room. Assemble a team of friends, family, or co-workers, and see if you can escape within an hour!

    Summertime calls for ice cream, and for Texans there’s nothing better than Blue Bell. When you donate blood or platelets with We Are Blood, you'll get a pint of the sweet stuff in return. Donors at blood centers can pick up their ice cream after donating; mobile drive donors will receive a voucher redeemable at any We Are Blood donor center.
