    Celebrating trees, pollinators, and all creatures! Come in costume or visit the costume creation station and fill the Enchanted Grove with fairies, butterflies, and bugs. Costume Parade and butterfly release at 1:30. Young, young at heart, and furry family are all welcome.

    Beto O'Rourke benefit w/ Black Eyed Vermillion and more

    Unlike the sniveling corporate opponent, Texas’ U.S. Senate candidate Beto O’Rourke doesn’t take money from lobbyists or PACs. Austin bands ante up for El Paso’s Cruz crusher, bassist in Nineties post-hardcore unit Foss, with a Memorial Day fundraiser. Carnival barking pub rockers Shoulders, roots-punk meatgrinders Black-Eyed Vermillion, and dance sirens the Fontanelles highlight the blowout also featuring Uncle Pie Hole, Sabbath Crow, All Monsters Attack, Dirty Charley, and Austin Warren.

    Mural Unveiling & Barbecue

    Creative Action's Color Squad has partnered with GirlForward, a local organization dedicated to supporting refugee girls, to create a community-oriented mural for East Austin. Take a tour, grab some barbecue from Micklethwait, and cool off at the splash pad at this family-friendly unveiling.

    Return of an Adventurer, Bon Voyage Sim & Kokoa

    Films of Moustapha Alassane: Pioneer filmmaker Moustapha Alassane made some of Niger's first short and feature films. His artistic approach combined painting, animation, ethnography, and the avant-garde, heavily influencing his West African contemporaries.

    The Hell Yes Project Olympics

    Eight local nonprofits compete in a field-day competition for a $1,000 prize. Events include a water balloon toss, speed cornhole, and "poop the potato." Additionally, ABGB will donate 5% of sales to charity.
