Sunday, March 10, 11am, Alamo Village

Richard Nixon, movie star? This archival documentary brings out the long-forgotten home movies of three White House aides – H.R. "Bob" Haldeman, John Ehrlichman, and Dwight Chapin – was seized and all but forgotten after Watergate, but now it's up on the big screen in all its Super 8 glory.

In this story of love, trust, and coming-of-age, two young boys, Ellis (Tree of Life's Tye Sheridan) and Neckbone (newcomer Jacob Lofland), learn there's more than mystery upriver as they get to know the fantastical titular Mud (Matthew McConaughey). But when bounty hunters and former snipers come onto the scene, the boys learn there might be more adventure than they bargained for.

William & the Windmill

Documentary Feature Competition, World Premiere
Sunday, March 10, 1:30pm, Stateside

After becoming a global icon for developing nations struggling to catch up and saving his family from a future of famine, William Kamkwamba, who told his story in the 2010 book The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind takes to the screen to ask, "What's next?" This is life after the windmill.
