Austin FC Announces 2021 Season Schedule

Austin's first-ever MLS team hits the road for first 7

With just over three weeks to go until its major league premiere, Austin FC has announced its entire season schedule.

As previously reported, Austin FC’s new home, Q2 Stadium at McKalla Place, won’t be ready for primetime for months yet. That means AFC starts the season with seven straight on the road – meaning lots of travel time for the new team to bond – before the first home match against the San Jose Earthquakes on June 19. The 34-match schedule includes three matches each against Texas’ other MLS teams, FC Dallas and Houston Dynamo, and only two against Eastern Conference teams; one of those is when the Columbus Crew comes to town on June 27.
