MLS2ATX reveals team name, logo, colors, and more

The support group MLS2ATX tonight revealed the team name, logo, colors, slogan, and more, for Austin’s first major league sports team: Austin FC, the current Columbus Crew, who are ever-so-close to finalizing their move to Austin, starting next season.

The name is Austin FC, of course. The colors are black, white, and Bright Verde (Pantone 354, a nice, bright green). The team tagline is "Grow the Legend" ("Cultiva La Leyenda"), and there are some new stadium renderings, and a pretty cool promo video about "a major league team for all of Austin." Go to (which is also for all that and more, and to get on their mailing list.
