Texas Rangers to Play in Round Rock

Hot off their first-ever World Series appearance, it was announced today the Texas Rangers will be playing an exhibition game vs. the Round Rock Express at the Dell Diamond on Wed., March 30, 2011, 6:30pm. Gates will open at 4:30pm for batting practice.

The 2011 season will be the first year of the Express' affiliation with the Rangers. Previous parent club Houston played exhibition games in Round Rock vs. the Express in 2001 and 2005.

“We are proud to be able to announce that we are hosting our parent club for this special event,” Express Executive Vice President and General Manager George King said. “It’s a great chance for our fans to familiarize themselves with some of the game’s top performers and a chance to get to know their hometown team before the regular season begins. It will be a night to remember at The Dell Diamond.”

Reserved seating and suite tickets are $28, home run porch tickets are $22, and lawn seating tickets are $12. A limited number of Intel Club tickets also are available for $40.
