Introducing the Lingerie Football League
Friday night tights … oops, I mean lights

Just when you think you've seen it all comes along the Lingerie Football League. Billing itself as "True Fantasy Football," the season kicks off Friday, Sept. 4 in Chicago with the Miami Caliente visiting the Chicago Bliss. Texas is represented by the Dallas Desire whose first game is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 25 (the league only schedules one game per week with each team playing a three-game season). The Desire will play home games at Quicktrip Park in Grand Prairie.
The LFL will feature seven-on-seven action (that's what she said) on a field 50 yards long and 30 yards wide with eight-yard end zones. The scoring is the same as the NFL. There are two 15-minutes halves with an 8-minute sudden-death overtime if needed. It seems to me the biggest problem will be keeping the ladies (somewhat) fully clothed while playing tackle football in lingerie. Some people may not consider this much of a problem though. And, there will be cheerleaders. How does that work? They should go grab some guys from LeBare and have them shake their pom-poms. Good luck ladies. Stay safe.
