Vince Young Holds Second Annual Football Camp

Longhorn legend back in town to share his knowledge with the kids

Vince Young Holds Second Annual Football Camp

While Vince Young is currently a second-stringer for the Houston Oil … I mean Tennessee Titans, his commitment to the kids and the community takes a back seat to nothing. On Sat., July 18 (registration from 8:30am-9:30am), at St. Michael’s Catholic Academy, 3000 Barton Creek Blvd., Young will be holding his second annual Vince Young Football Camp. This one-day affair will feature top high school coaches, Young, and other NFL players teaching the fundamentals of team and individual football to campers who will be divided up according to position, grade, age, and ability level. Each camper will walk away with a T-shirt, goodie bag, participation certificate, and an autographed photo of VY. Kids are asked to bring a positive attitude, football shoes, shorts, a T-shirt, white socks, and sneakers. I guess the white socks are cooler or something. I wonder if there will be a talk about how to handle the pressures of the NFL spotlight. The cost is $75 U.S. dollars. Click here for more.
