Flat Track Derby in Motion, Part 1

Footage from day two of last weekend's WFTDA Western Regionals

With the flat track Roller Derby world wondering who'll come out on top at this weekend's Eastern Regionals, time for a refresher of what went down last weekend at the the Western Regionals in Houston, where Austin's own Texas Rollergirls took top seed going into nationals in November (see the full write-up here.)

On their first day on the track (actually second day of the event) the Texecutioners' bouted against the Rocky Mountain Rollergirls from Denver and Seattle's Rat City Rollegirls. Check back for more footage from day three, including backstage life and the big top-slot bout against San Francisco's Bay Area Derby Girls.
