Texas Rollergirls holding fundraisers for travel teams

It's a big traveling year for the Texas Rollergirls, and that's running up a lot of costs for the amateur teams. This weekend, while the Honky Tonk Heartbreakers will be heading back from Friday's visit to the Denver Roller Dolls, TXRG will be holding two nights of fundraisers at the Tiniest Bar in Texas at 817 W. Fifth.
On Saturday, June 14, they'll be raising funds for the Hotrod Honeys' big trip to Hamilton, Ontario, to face the Hammer City Rollergirls on Aug, 15. There'll be live performances from Hooded Torture Victim, Shriner Threat, and Attack Formation.
On Sunday, June 15, the money will go to the traveling Texecutioners for their weekend trip to Feasterville, Pa., for the mammoth East Coast Derby Extravaganza, June 21-22. Live music lineup TBA.
Recommended donation $3: And don't forget, at all home bouts the Rollergirls will also be accepting all donations of books, DVDs, CDs, vinyl, and VHS at any home bout: all proceeds they raise will go toward the travel fund.
