More stops in the World-Wide Texas (Rollergirls) Tour

Want an excuse to get out of the predictably awful August weather in Austin? How's about following the Hotrod Honeys to Canada! That's one of three more away bouts announced for the Texas Rollergirls for the rest of the season. On June 13, the Honky Tonk Heartbreakers head up-country and uphill to face the high altitude Mile High Club, the touring team for the Denver Roller Dolls. Then on August 15, less than two weeks after their championship bout, the Hotrod Honeys go international when they visit Hamilton in Ontario, Canada, to take on the Hammer City Rollergirls. They can probably share a cab to the airport with the Hustlers, who cap their postseason off with a trip to Florida to take on the Tallahassee Rollergirls on August 16.
But let's not get ahead of ourselves: The Heartbreakers have a little touring to do this weekend. Houston's Bayou City Bosse$ will be waiting for them at the Verizon Theater, while the Machete Betties will face off against the Burleseque Brawlers. Doors open at 4pm, bout starts 5pm.
