Wait, he still has the power? At the end of the first season of Masters of the Universe: Revelation, He-Man wasn't looking so great, having been stabbed through the gut by a resurrected Skeletor while still transforming from weakling Prince Adam. Can Austin's own Powerhouse Animation save the day?

The local studio, which also produced the smash Castlevania for Netflix, is back for season 2 of the revival, written by old Powerhouse friend and Clerks creator Kevin Smith. Season 1 (a direct continuation from the beloved 1980s animated series He-Man and the Master of the Universe) debuted in July with a starstudded voice cast including Chris Wood as He-Man, Sarah Michelle Gellar as Teela, Lena Headey as Evil-Lyn, and Mark Hamill himself as the ultimate force of evil, Skeletor.

However, the shocking cliffhanger saw that ultimate evil getting even more ultimate-r, as Skeletor seized the Power Sword and became Skelegod, a force of chaos set upon destroying the universe. The heroes were depleted in ranks: Orko, Mossman, the Sorcerous, and seemingly He-Man himself, all had fallen. This left Teeela (the focus so far of the show) to mount what opposition she could.

But the new trailer from Netflix shows that it may well indeed be darkest before the dawn. Can there be two Sorceresses? Can He-Man really be dead? And is that the familiar voice of a certain floating wizard? Tune in when Masters of the Universe: Revelation returns to Netflix on Nov. 23.
