Making a film is like making pizza. You may have all the proper ingredients, but you have to put it all together in just the right way to make it rise properly. New feature Dough has sifted its cinematic flour and sliced its tomatoes, and needs your help to get it in the oven.

This is a long-gestating project, starting back in 2012. Primary filming has finished and now they're in the final (and expensive) post-production phase. That's where this crowdfunding push comes in: they need cash to hire a sound mixer and a colorist to finish how the audience will hear and see the picture. That comes in at $8,000, and they're trying to hit the target by August 30.
You can contribute via the project's IndieGoGo page, and there's an extra bonus for anyone contributing $50 or over: You're automatically entered into a raffle for gift cards from local businesses including Birds Barbershop, the Round Rock Express, and 600 Degree Pizza (natch).
Don't have any cash? Follow the film on Facebook, and watch their pitch video.
