Two More Acquisitions for SXSW Alumni
'Honeymoon' and 'Thank You a Lot' picked up

We always have fun playing the "where are they now" game with films that premiere at area film festivals, and this week, two more South by Southwest features leveled up.
First up, there's Honeymoon, a Midnighters entry from first-time filmmaker Leigh Janiak. The thriller, which stars Rose Leslie (Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey) and Harry Treadaway as newlyweds, was just picked up by Magnet Pictures.
Also, Austin filmmaker Matt Muir has something to give thanks for, as Gravitas acquired the rights to his feature Thank You a Lot, starring the inimitable James Hand and Blake Delong. Gravitas reportedly plans a June 2014 digital release, as well as a summer concert/screening tour.
Stay tuned for more news on these pictures, as well as the rest of the SXSW 2014 class.
