Kickstart Your Weekend: 'Dead Explorer'

Alejandro Dominguez, creator and host of Web series Dead Explorer, spends a lot of his time being quiet and in the dark, but he's speaking loud and clear – and in full light – about his needs for season two.

For the series, paranormal investigator Dominguez travels around the country to various haunted locales to try to shed a tiny bit of night-vision light on the stories of these places – from the Magnolia Hotel in Seguin to the USS Hornet in California. But at the end of the day, and despite almost 6,000 subscribers to his YouTube channel, it's just a passion project – and a costly one at that.

Dominguez launched a Kickstarter campaign for $4,000 in order to help defray costs as he begins shooting season two.
