Felicia Day Is Coming to Austin

Also, 'Rock Jocks' is on tour, but mostly that first thing

You read that right: The goddess of all things geek, Felicia Day, is coming to Austin.

The Alamo Drafthouse is bringing the Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog star, The Guild producer, and University of Texas alumna back to town to do a Q&A after a screening of Rock Jocks, a film from Day's production company, Geek & Sundry.

To sum up the film, in case you're curious:

Written and directed by Paul V. Seetachitt and starring Gerry Bednob, Andrew Bowen, Justin Chon, Felicia Day, Jason Mewes, Doug Jones, and Kevin Wu, ROCK JOCKS tells the story of one night in the offices of a group of dysfunctional government employees who must save the Earth by shooting down any and all asteroids that threaten our planet using special laser-equipped satellites in orbit.

The event, to be held Thursday, June 27, at the Alamo Drafthouse at the Ritz, is part of a five-city tour emceed by Henri Mazza, but we're the only city to get Day live and in person; Houston gets Andrew Bowen, and the three latter dates will have Skype interviews with the cast and crew.

Friday, July 5: SIFF Cinema (Seattle, Wash.)
