You Can Dance If You Want To

Alamo Danceoke has all the moves

If you're one of those people who's too busy dancing in your seat to notice the traffic, the Alamo Drafthouse's Danceoke competition is definitely for you.

Drafthouse has long been the hub for sing-alongs and quote-alongs, so why not dance-alongs? In this new partnership with GrooveFit Austin, local dance crews can reenact classic movie dance routines on the Ritz stage: Think Center Stage, Pulp Fiction, and Dirty Dancing, but with you and your friends taking the lead.

Sound like a toe-tapping good time? The first event is slated for just a little over a week from now – that is, Wednesday, May 15, 7pm, at the Ritz. Which gives you plenty of time to get loose … Footloose.

Visit the Drafthouse website for tickets and complete details.
