Sundance to Screen New Zellner Bros. Film
"Kid-Thing" world premieres in January

Austin filmmakers the Zellner Bros., no strangers to Sundance, are headed back to Utah this January.
The 2012 Sundance Film Festival will world-premiere David and Nathan Zellner's new feature, called Kid-Thing, in the Next sidebar. Prolific short film makers, this is the Zellner Bros.' first feature since 2008's Goliath.
Here's how the Zellners described the project on its Kickstarter page:
"KID-THING is a fever-dream fable about Annie, a rebellious girl whose existence is devoid of parental guidance. She spends her time roaming the land, shoplifting, vandalizing and making prank phone calls. Her routine is broken one day while playing in the woods; she hears an old woman calling from a mysterious hole in the ground, asking for help. Scared and untrusting of the unseen stranger, Annie deliberates on her course of action."
