Local yarn-artiste Allison Hoffman, whom the Chron profiled back in July, dropped in on Martha Stewart's live show this morning.
Hoffman first gained fame when she crocheted a Conan O'Brien doll, or amigurumi. She now runs a profitable online business called Crafty Is Cool, which sells her homemade patterns. Other pop culture icons Hoffman has taken her needles to include Pee-Wee Herman, the Where the Wild Things Are creatures, and now a Martha Stewart doll, which she brought to the show.
The Martha Stewart Show's Holiday Yarn Projects show, featuring Hoffman, will air again Tuesday (12/6) at noon on the Hallmark Channel.
