At today’s awards luncheon at the Austin Club, the Austin Film Fsetival announced its competition winners, including a big win for a UT grad.

Director/co-writer Jack Zagha Kababie and producer Yossy Zagha, who both attended UT-Austin, won Best Narrative Feature for the Mexico City-set comedy Adios Mundo Cruel. Best Documentary Feature went to Louder Than a Bomb, which chronicles a high school slam poetry competition in Chicago. It screens at 6pm today at the Rollins Theatre and Tuesday, 5pm, at the Arbor; Adios Mundo Cruel, which premiered Friday, screens again tomorrow (10/24), 7pm, at the Arbor.
