Austinites Clean up in Shark Tank

Erin Whalen and Tim Stansbury get support for their product on ABC

Maybe you've never seen the ABC reality series Shark Tank where fledgling entrepreneurs hope to get some much needed cash support from a panel of loaded investors.

The entrepreneurs are always eager and wide-eyed. The investors are so filthy rich, it drips. I've yet to see an episode where any of the investor types is not so full of their own sense of importance you feel a little slimy after watching them. Those seeking support for their great idea area always likeable, not matter how goofy their product. It's sweet, really.

Austinites Erin Whalen and Tim Stansbury had the winning product last week, with their new and oh, so practical Grease Monkey Wipes. Made for heavy duty cleaning that cyclists might want to use on the road, they can also be used for other super-duper messes.
