"Nobody loves the theatre as much as Terrence." This observation about Terrence McNally was made by Nathan Lane in the 2019 documentary Every Act of Life. That great love, along with a 55-year career as a playwright, came to a close Tuesday, March 24, as complications from coronavirus took McNally's life. He was 81.
