Where the Girls Go/ATX: Frisky Fall Edition

Queertastic grrrl events this weekend, and every weekend.

Fall might have arrived in Austin over night, but these cooler temperatures aren’t keeping anyone inside. In fact, with that extra hour of night skies, autumn is clearly telling us to stay out later. So do just that this weekend and relish in all things fall, and all things queer.

Friday: Fridays are best when double fisting. Make the most of tonight by two-timing it. Start with the ladies who are once again taking over Castro’s with Lesbutante & the Boss' First Fridays. Then move it and shake it with some QTs at Chain Drive for WTF Friday. DJs False Flag & Divorcée plan on makin’ you sweat.

Suggestion: Save yourself the driving stress, cab it between the two.

Saturday: It’s a quiet day in the neighborhood. Use it to step outside your bubble (it’s ok, we all have one) and try something new. TENT (Transgender Education Network of Texas) has their monthly meeting today; and queer grrrl friendly shops, Bookwoman and Q Toys are both open until 8pm.

Suggestion: Keep it low key and calm today. Maybe you can even get some early holiday shopping done. (It still counts if it’s for yourself; we won't tell.)

Sunday: Love parties with a purpose? If so, tonight is going to blow your mind. This Breastless Club fundraiser is fully loaded with performers, raffle prizes, and DJs Mary Coronado and Girlfriend. If that wasn’t enticing enough, the fabulous Uršulinka Lucadevjic is hosting this Sunday shindig. We said it here first: ya gotta appreciate Sundays in Austin.

Suggestion: Bring some cash for the door, and if you're feeling antsy earlier on, start out at Butterfly Bar. Once again, the TGQ Social is happening there this afternoon.

Still begging for more? The Gay Place has it covered, and Where the Girls Go/ATX never disappoints. Stay frisky, babes.
