The Good

• Women’s rights stay front and center as thousands mob the Capitol.

• DOMA’s demise will benefit older LGBTQ Americans most.

• Lieutenant Governor David Dewhurst may be on the way out.

• Being an anti-gay conservative in modern society may soon resemble being an Orthodox Jew in McDonalds culture. And gays are like cheeseburgers.

• Gay marriage is not a threat to straight rights.

The Bad

• Governor Rick Perry may be a laughing stock in Texas, but might actually benefit nationally.

• Ten states will likely tackle gay marriage soon; Texas isn’t among them (yet).

The Fugly

• LGBTQ oppression in Russia? Some U.S. conservatives love it.

• Giving dignity to gays is stealing dignity from homophobes.

• Alec Baldwin is not perfect. But he admits it and apologizes, so that’s as close as it comes.

• Hugh Jackman is not gay. In related news, he wears Vibrams in public.
