Scouts, Mormons, queens, and meanwhile, more good news on military trans* acceptance and a changing Republican field. Your new AggreGAYtor is reporting for duty.

The Good

  • A Texas boy returns on a tour of the queer South.

  • Kristen Beck joins the roster of out transgender veterans in her new book.

  • In the face of recent hate crimes, New Yorkers are learning to bash back, or at least to defend themselves.

  • Boy Scouts, Mormons, and gay Mormon scouts show their colors at Utah Pride,  against orders.

  • Queer issues have economic, social justice, and even ecological underpinnings.

  • Guys, gay marriage is a tough issue for fair-minded Republicans who have a live-and-let-live attitude, and Bloomberg is on it.

The Bad

The Fugly

  • Queen Elizabeth will break the monarchy if she allows gay marriage, says someone who is not Queen Elizabeth.
