Mo' Music: Spring Music, Part 3

By Rob Cohen, April 11, 2013, 4:10pm, Qmmunity

I just had a couple lines of supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, so I'm transcending space and time. Distract yourself with these until… and if, I get back.

"Overgrown" James Blake
Young, smooth, handsome post-R&B singer seeks music blogger for witching-hour cuddling to sad music. One can dream, at least.

"What I Like" Charli XCX
She's yet to transcend "Nuclear Seasons" but there is great potential in this alternative-pop princess. This new single from her upcoming album True Romance is a simple and sexy ode to those who know how to tickle her pickle.

"Never Run Away" Kurt Vile
Kurt returns with more of his silky, sweet psychedelic folk-rock. Try not to swoon at this gorgeous song.

"Lighters Up"Snoop Lion
Snoop must of gotten so high he forgot to perform on this track because it's hard to discern his voice at all. Otherwise this is a decent, catchy ode to getting stoned.

"Afraid of Heights" Wavves
His snotty brand of hipster Green Day is meh on this single, but this video about a date with drag-queens-gone-wrong is creepy fun.
