UT students: You wanna know what a Penile Plethysmograph is, right?

We don't usually take the time out of our busy day eating honeysuckle and sippin' on dew to pimp medical studies, but, um … this one caught our interest. If you're a gay (cisMale) UT student you can watch some dude-on-dude pornvids and know that you're contributing to S-C-I-E-N-C-E. Shhh.

Thank you for your interested in our study! We would like to schedule a 2-hour block of time at your convenience.

In the session (2 hrs), male participants will complete a survey about their sexual history and related items such as personality traits and self image. Afterwards, participants will view an erotic video and answer questions about their response to the video. There is a possibility that participants may be asked to ingest an herbal supplement prior to the film viewing.

There are two pieces of equipment utilized during the video: three electrode pads and wires to record heart rate and a penile plethysmograph.
