The Pee and the Fix
SXSW Film begins for this queermo

I stood in line for an hour to get in to see Pee Wee Herman, onscreen and in person. It was worth it! B'duh. But imagine my surprise when sitting next to me was noneother than Kerthy Fix
she of that fabu Magnetic Fields documentary Strange Powers that showed at last year's SXSW. We threw a party for her when it went into general release, and watched Austin's queerest band cover MF with aplomb.
Well now Ms. Fix has got another documentary in queue, Who Took the Bomp? Le Tigre on Tour. The film follows those feministqueerdancerockers as they tour across the globe, bringing elecrojoy to the masses. Her film premieres on Thursday, March 17 6:15pm at the State Theater, and plays again on Saturday, March 19, 2:30pm at the Vimeo Theater in the Austin Convention Center. (Just a tip if you ain't got a badge or a pass - try for the Saturday screening, as that theater holds 600 folks in comparison to the State Theater's 300).
As we walked out today, I was handed a bowtie sticker, red of course for Pee Wee, and told there was an ice cream truck giving out free ice cream to the SXSWers courtesy of the manchild himself. I don't know where to stick this thing.
Any ideas?
