If you're interested in the Perry V. Schwarzenegger case (and if you're not WHY AREN'T YOU?) there's one place to go to get a play by play of the trial: The Prop 8 Trial Tracker!
The Prop 8 Trial Tracker website is just fabu. A summary of the coming day along with paraphrased transcripts of all components of the trial. Earlier, Dr. Gary Segura did his best to remind the courts that homosexuals are relatively powerless. From the trial
S: Yes. Any form of violence or disorderly behavior has a negative impact on the public. Non-violent protests play better. That said, it is conceivable that such outbursts may serve the long-term impact of the group. E.g., post Rodney King violence that spurred "Rebuild LA" that brought about investment in South LA. Not endorsing such acts, but there are times when such acts express powerlessness.
Good job, Professor.
And there's more fireworks on the roster, as Dr. William Tam is examined. His positions on gays (that we recruit children and give them diseases) are offensive and ill-informed. Like I had to tell you that.
Let's hope he puts his foot in his mouth and starts babbling about Satan. GOOD LUCK, TAM! KILL 'EM DEAD!
