QUEERAOKE = Fabulous Prizes

Win fabulous prizes at tonight's Queeraoke!

Blatant Shill Alert

Your friendly neighborhood Gay Place: K8 & Kate will be at Coochie Coo tonight at the Peacock for a very special night of Queeraoke. And like last month's installment, this month will feature an opportunity to sign up for a brand-new contest!

First, the Queeraoke details:

Who? You and me, baby
What? Queeraoke, queers, nonqueers, karaoke, peacocks
Where? The Peacock, 515 Pedernales
When? Tonight, Thursday, July 19, 9pm-close
How? Deliciously

Additional info: Tonight's event is part of Coochie Coo's Carnal Cabaret, featuring some upstanding stand-uppers, musicians, talented types, weirdos, etc. While it is a "ladies night" per se, the crowd is delightfully mixed and friendly.

We will close the place. Drink specials after midnight!

Now for the contest details:

Gay Place is giving away another trip. This one is in town and for the women, although anyone over the age of 21 may enter. (We promise a dude-centric one very very soon!)

WIN A SPECTACULAR PRIZE PACKAGE! Two tickets to HRC's Dinah Lakeshore Event, a two-night stay at the Wyndham Garden Hotel, dinner at Uchi, and a special gift courtesy of The Austin Chronicle's Kill-a-Watt Challenge and Forbidden Fruit! (Yes, it's an "educational model"!!!)

Plus, we will have assorted giveaways tonight for tickets to ASA's Viva Las Vegas this weekend, some swag from the upcoming movie Hairspray, T-shirts, and more! All entrants (even tonight's winners) will be eligible for the Grand Prize drawing (the date of which TBA). No e-mail entries will be accepted at this time. Keep checking here at the Gay Place blog for further details on how to enter after tonight.
